SONY DIGITAL AND ANALOG REPAIR HELP AND PARTS

I AM AN AUTHORIZED SONY CENTER CAMCORDER TECHNICIAN WANTING TO HELP OTHER TECHS IN REPAIRING CAMERAS.ALSO WILL HELP OTHERS FIND - RESEARCH PART NUMBERS- OR ORDER SONY PARTS FOR OTHERS.

      I would like to connect a mid-1980's Sony 8 mm videocamera to a PC so I can access some old 8 mm tape videos and burn them on a DVD. Is there a part which will plug into the RFU 80 UC adaptor slot for a mid-1980's Sony 8 mm videocamera and provide either a USB or P/S 2 connection ? I am currently able to access the videos using the RFU 80 UC adaptor VHF/Line output but the video quality is low. I was hoping a higher quality connection would provide a higher quality signal for the DVD.

      I have a small Trinitron TV, flat screen, Model Number: FEET2SK3326. A service shop where I live (Costa Rica) says that my TV set (which will not turn on) is in need of an "integrado" but that the part is unavailable in Costa Rica. I need help in locating the Sony replacement part, purchasing it and then having someone send it to my USA address in Miami. Thanks.

      Don't know if you can help. I have a 35" Sony Trinitron television (made in 1999). It powers on, but no sound or picture. I was able to get sound by pushing down on the circuit board. Not too sure what the problem is. I noticed the LED flashing in the front which I found out told me: No reply from the jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground or held high), IK video path is defective. Any information would be of great help. Thanks first time tv repair rookie: KEITH

        Me too - same thing. 1999 Sony Trinitron KB-35S42 35". Blinking light. Sound works, no picture. Web searches have made me believe the 'IK video path' is defective. Is this an affordable fix? Something I can do myself? The TV isn't worth much, so professional repair is out I'm sure. Should I just throw this huge thing out?

        I am asking the same question to same problem. Mine is a sony flat screen KV 20FV30C. standby red led blinks 20 time then off. Sound but no picture. Use to be able to watch then picture went black. Would sometime resolve when turned set back on, but eventually failed completely. Does anyone have info on the part to fix this: " no reply from the jungle IC301(data bus is busy, shorted to ground or held high), IK video path is defective."

    All searches have come up empty as the part is no longer made. Can you recommend any place that has a stock of older Sony Parts?

      i have a sony trinitron kv-32v15 when i turn on the tv nothing happens. no picture, no sound, nothing. i was just wondering if there is a replacement part to solve this problem or if i'm better off buying a new tv.

        Hi, I am in the same situation you are. My son was watching TV then the TV turned off and now it won't turn back on. I tried a new outlet, checked the power cord everything looks okay. "The unsinkable Titanic", I used to think that Sonys lasted forever, I know people who have Sony TV's that are 20 years old, This TV was only nine years old. Any suggestions. I a'm not a repair tech, but was hoping to fix it on my own :-)

        Hello, I am having the same problem. My Sony kv32s15 "died" by just turning itself off permanently... nothing. Did you find a solution? I am told there is a kit called a power supply kit that is the fix but I am no expert. Maybe we can help each other. Chad

      ive got a kv-32v15 also and the lower channels dont work anymore, all fuzz, and it seems to be a tuner problem. anyone know where they have spare parts for this model? any help would be appreciated.
