SONY DVD PLAYER LASER REQUIRED

I have a Sony DVD player model number DVP NS400D and it wont play dvds anymore music cds are fine could this be the laser that has gone and needs to be replaced?? if so does anyone know where to buy Spare parts for Sony DVD players in the UK??
