where is the Sharp VL-AX1U?

Sharp still has it listed as one of there current camcorders but I can't find it anywhere. I saw that 1 year ago there were $500 deals on these but since then the camera seems to have disappeared. Anyone know anything? or where I can find a good deal (~$500) on these? Thanks
