I am so happy to find someone with the same camera & the same problem, in the same week!! Were you able to fix it? Please let me know. We have alot of memories on that tape, we would love to get it out and hopefully the camera will work again. Thanks, PZ

Sorry to say but I haven't had the time to tinker with my camera lately, so I don't know if I can repair it or not.***PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT A TECHNISSION, THIS IS ONLY WHAT I HAVE FOUND TO WORK FOR ME*** But as far as getting the tape out there are two things that I found to be effective. 1) Make sure that you are using a fully charged battery or plug the camera in using the wall outlet jack and try to use the "eject" button. 2)If that doesn't work, try (very carefully) taking just the door off, there should be only two screws that hold the door on; once the door is off you will have access to the release pin inside the door. When looking at the door it should be on the left side of the tape in the door; "Gently" press the pin down until the tape pops up. Basiclly, once the door is off (and as long as you are carefull) you are care full you should be able to work the tape outta there. Saving the tape is the important part. I hope this helps. Let me know.
