Well I'm back, Not as much sucess as you have had. I'm not sure what you mean by "release pin" I took the door off with the 2 screws. Looking to the left of the tape I see a spring, some thin metal tabs, I can also see the button that you would use to eject the tape under normal circumstances. I tried what you said also regarding the back up battery. Remove, re-install, replace. Even with the power supply plugged in during each of these steps the tape still wont come out. Any more detail you can give re the release pin would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time. PZ
