What is the best method to convert Hi8MM tapes to DVD.

I have a Sony CCD-TRV85 Hi8MM video camera with tons of tapes of home video and would like to convert them to DVD's. I also have a Canon-Elura 2mc Mini Digital video Camcorder. Is there a way to play the Sony through the Canon to record to my Sony DVD +-RW external dvd burner? I also have the ATI All In Wonder Radeon video card which could capture the video from my Sony CCD-TRV85, I'm just a little lost on how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I just don't have the time to spend days on this.
