pinnacle studio 8 capture a MPEG2 file

I use Moviebox DV capture video via Studio 8, and it works good when I capture a avi file. but when I capture DVD(MPEG2) directly with Pinnacle Studio 8, the movie picture that I got plays with "jumpy" every 15 frames! but studio 8 didn't say any 'loss frame' when capture. ...but, it is ok when I capture SVD and VCD(MPEG1), I don't think my machine is too slow - ASUS P4P800, P4 2.6GCPU, 1GDDR400, 2X160GHDD(7200rpm) Can anyone help me? thx.
