I-movie does not detect my DCR-PC120 camera when plug via firewire, but "DV IN" appears on the LCD of the camera.

I used to import video from my DCR-PC120 camera by plugging it to my computer via the fire wire port and using i-movie (I use a G4 running with MAC OS 10.3). But it does not work anymore and I don't know why. i-movie doesn't detect the camera and I noticed that the message "DV IN" appears on the LCD of the camera. And when I get into the menu of the camera, even if I turn on the option "AV/DV OUT", the message "DV IN" still appears. Does any body would have an answer to my problem ?
