SONY MBT-XBR900

I HAVE A SONY KE42XBR900 PLASMA TELEVISION . THE MEDIA RECEIVER (MBT-XBR900) THAT COMES WITH THE PLASMA HAS BEEN SEVERLY DAMAGED. SONY WILL NOT SELL ME THE MEDIA RECEIVER ALONE. ANY IDEA WHERE I COULD LOCATE ONE ? NEW OR USED.

    i know your posting is a year old, but were you ever able to find the media reciever (mbt-xbr900) for your sony lcd? if so, where did you find it. thanks!

    I have a new one. My friend's company does chip development for TVs and receviers. They had a bunch in their office (unopened), and are now a defunct company.

    Email me if you're still looking for one. Not sure if you are, considering this post is a couple of years old.

      Hello there I bought the whole Tv-set in USA, but now want to use it in Europe! The Plasma itself is a worldwide-internationall Plasam, but the reciever is killing me. I really DO NEED a MBT-XBR900 , it is the same, but the european version is the one I need. You could be my savier man! Thanks, 2007-11-6

      Hi i have been allover the place trying to find a MBTMR1 media box with no luck what so Ever, :( if anyone as one and want to sell it pls pls get in contact with me.. as always sony was no help saying " we are sorry however we are unable to help you on this item as we do not stock this model PDM-4200 any more " eBay, gumtree dixsons, curry, or any other shop in the hole world just dont stock this item.. so what are we all goign to do with r huge 50inc tv,, ? some one must know a other media box that will work.     I have a Sony 50 XBR900 in need of a new media box, MBT XBR900. Does anyone know where i can get one. The tv works fine, however, no go for the media box. Sony no longer makes them I understand.

    If anybody is still looking I have this unit. Also if anybody needs a Sony KE 50 (pdm5000)panel I have it also but it doesnt---work great for parts though or if you have the parts and bad panel

    I have the Sony Plasma model kde-42xbr950. The Screen just went on me. The screen is actually called PDM-4210. This set also came as a 50, 55 and 61. If anybody has or know where to get the 50-61, please let me know. Those model numbers are PDM-6110, PDM-5510 and PDM-5010.
