Can somebody who allready have VX1000 help me, please!!!

Like I sad, I bought Wide lance orig."Sony" VCL-R0752 with 52mm, but it dasn't fit on 52mm!?! (sims to be a little biger!) screwing Ring on Sony VX1000! Is it possible that on VX1000 Standard Adapter Ring is missing, witch is a little bit biger, from 55mm to 52mm maybe?
