Wierd, can't print to tape,

"copy Inhibit" error on my GV-D1000

The wierdest thing is happening and I've never had it before. I have an older project I need to make a change to and print to a new tape. So I captured the master back into the computer. Did my work and tried to print to tape using my Sony DV-G1000 MiniDV walkman which I use for capturing and printing to tape. I get about 6 minutes back onto a brand new tape then on my Sony screen, up pops a COPY INHIBIT message the the recorder stops recording. However Vegas still thinks it's printing and continues to play the tape. I'm using Vegas 4.0d build 205. I recently installed a new hard drive and had to re-install everything. But I don't know if it's something with Vegas or the Sony. I've checked and rechecked all my settings and can't see anything different. Anyone have any ideas? I need to get this back on to a tape. Mean time I rendered the file to AVI and will try to PTT using the Vegas Capture window. Thanks Allen
