SONY WALKMAN NET MD MZ-N505 TYPE -R

Rob Posted Mar 18, 2004

I need to find a way to record music from my walkman to my computer even if the music didn't come from my computer.

I was recording my band's tapes to my walkman in that later I could put them on my computer as MP3's and upload them to our site. Well, I had no such luck, apparantly Open Jukebox won't let me check-in songs that didn't come from it. Is anyone aware of how I could possibly get around this obstacle? I have Window's XP version 5.1 I normally (i.e. always) check in/out my songs through a usb connection. I have Window's media player and i tried accessing my walkman through that but that did not work out. Is there something I haven't thought of, or has anyone ever done this? I've thought about maybe Recording the songs on my walkman to a blank CD but I don't think my walkman does reverse recording. I'm not much of a computer person, so if anyone wiser than I can help, t'would be much appreciated.
