Recording music on a video shoot

Hi, I'm going to be recording music on a video shoot and I'm looking for insights on syncing to camera. The camera is a Sony 700 (1000 series): I'll be using Nuendo with RME ADI-8 DS converters and a Rosendahl Nanosyncs. How do get a video reference from the camera and also be able to timestamp my files with camera timecode? Thanks, Gary
