Relacement amp for jvc ca-mx70bk component system.

Would like to find a replacement amp for jvc ca-mx70bk component system. If not the original one,one that is compatible with the other components. (compulink inputs,bi-amp outputs). Any help on this would be appreciated,I've been searching for some time.

I have a JVC-CA-MX70 system with a remote, manual etc for parts. Its amplifier went bad, too, but it doesn't give any humming. Instead, it develops static cracks in both channels and the bass channels start to pop up only 10 or so minutes after the system is playing music. I tried to solve the static problem by spraying DeOxit into the volume potentiometer. This did not help; even tearing this pot apart and extensive spraying of its innards did not help too. So if anyone needs any part of this system just let me know. One can try to use component boards from my amplifier to get rid of humming problem in your amplifier. Alternatively, if you have an amplifier that gives you hum AND there is no static “cracks” or other defects- I can buy it from you. Please let me know.

I have an entire MX 70 system with remote in perfect condition. I am about to put it on Craig's list, but if someone wants it for parts, and the price is right, it's yours. Let me know.

I too have been looking to replace this amp for several years. No luck to date. NOTE: Watch out on EBay. I found a European version that is 240v., not 120v. needed for the US.

Having same loud humming problem. Replaced volume control at $65. Replaced 3 largest capacitors in amo section, no luck. Still have loud hum. I'll try to update you all if I fix it, but any advice is welcome in the meanwhile...

Hi All, I too have a JVC ca-mx70bk and cannot part with it. My unit has one bass channel that cuts out after a few minutes... otherwise fine. What to do? If any of you still have your units and are willing to part with a working amp, I'd consider buying from you. I've been searching the net and have not come up with much, cept for this site. I will email each of you individually also who have posted here. Surely there are thousands of units in peoples' basements... collecting dust... with perfectly good replacement parts.... If you are reading this and want to sell your unit for parts, contact me asap! Sincerely, Barry 720 244-7847

I hope you have been successful in repairing your stereo unit, JVC CA-MX70. I too am searching for a solution to my stereo's problem that sounds similar to yours. "A loud humming comming from speakers." If you found a supply for the amp section or parts needed for repairs, could you share this info with me. I really like the JVC unit and cannot find as nice a shelf model elsewhere. If so, please respond via email, or by posting here. Thanks so much. Jon S. jsherer@peoplepc.com

Hi. Did some google ing for a repair/replacement for my own ca-mx70bk amp and found this. Has anyone found parts/replacements for theirs? My opinions of my old stereo are just as high as others and I would love to keep it. Thank you everyone! real@umich.edu
