Render to analog tape is only black and white ???

resentaly purchased the new studio 9 with breakout box for input and export of analog video it only renders to analog tape or monitor in black and white, NO COLOR. any ideas or is it another pinnacle thing......... their online and tec support is a travesty to video production... absolutely useless thanks
