Clunk

Whenever I turn on my PS2 it makes a clunking noise for about 5 seconds then it tries to load the disc and does it again What should i do?

  it can be 2 things. 1 did u change it 2 a room with a diffrent temp and turn it on?
  if u did then take the cover off and clean and drie the lens. u might wat to try this anyway. and the other problom could be the lens needs replacement. if so call up sony and they will fix it. it might cost u to ship it thuoght
