Steven R, You're correct it's an AM/FM IF & demodulator. It crosses to an ECG1624 with a pinout in the ECG cross ref book. It was used in a General Electric Model No. 7-4550C clock (analog) radio. Plug 74550C into PhotoFact and they offer to sell you a photocopy of the clock radio for $15. That's as close as I come to application information.
