I have been using PD150 since it came out in 1999. It is still a great camera. But Last year, it started having problem with audio. I spent $500 and sent to SONY last year, $300 for local repare shop this year. But stil having proble, I recomend to buy a new one. I bought Panasonic DVX100A. It is much better than PD150. (I don't use 24P. I use 60i or 30P only) Only problem with my DVX100A is that it has so much hiss noise in the headphone when I'm shooting. But it is not recorded on tape. And Panasonc's support is not so good. They don't repare camera themselves.
