I have just had my camera serviced now it has no Video Out

I have just had the head replaced in my camera. The camera play back works fine in the view finder and on the LCD. but will not go on the AV Out. The camera is set to AV out and still it doesn't give playback. The amplifier has been replaced by the service agent and still no go. They have no idea where to look now. The old head still played back is there any chance that the new head can be responsible for this problem? do they have 2 paths on the video out, One for internal and one for external playback coming off the head.
