I have the Sony F707. There is another string of entries on this forum about a different error message E:61:10. Just about everyone has commented that the "smacking method" worked to fix that problem. And it's the only thing that worked for me and my C:13:01 problem. If you have more than one Memory Stick, and you get the same message using each of them, the problem is in your camera, not the MS. Lightly tap the bottom of the camera on the edge of a table, and see if that corrects the problem. It did for me and many others.
