Screen on 14" panasonic TV has developed green hue.

I have a green cast to the entire screen on my little 14" Panasonic and cannot adjust it out with the color function of my on-screen adjustments. Can this be self repaired? Is it worth having it looked at by a TV Repairman? Thanks in advance Ray Parker
