  Hello, responding to your post. I have an Nutone IM 3303 intercom. Recently the radio and doorbell stopped working. I have checked the transformers which are still functioning. The panel still lights. Any ideas? Thanks !

  My nutone 406 starts working on radio but then gets erratic, gets noisy, a relay begins to chatter and then it quits altogether. Any ideas?

    Hi Guy, I have been using a Nutone 406 for about 30 years, and several times, it had had the same problem. To fix it, try re-seating the control circuit board. This is the board mounted towards the left side of the radio assembly, and it has a relay on it that has a clear plastic cover. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace or rebuild the control board. regards, John

      I pulled the 406 unit out of the wall but do not see a clear plastic cover and anything loose to reseat. Can you help me figure out where it is, maybe a picture or something. Thanks Steve
