Problem with changing input to anything but tv, video 5 and video 7

I cannot get it to switch to anything besides TV, video 5 and video 7. I have an XBox I am trying to hook up with a High Def cable, and the only input that would support it is Video 6. When I try the TV/Video buttons on both the TV and the remote, it cycles through TV, 5, and 7, without ever showing any of the others. Thanks in advance.
