      i also have the same prob. i just on our tv one day and saw that child lock on the tv screen.. do you already know the solution for this?... thank you..

  We can now get into the T V but still haver to use the code every time we switch on. How do you turn the dam code off!

  Every time I turn on my Wharfedale M2126N now I get a message saying "key ---" in the corner of the screen... how do I get rid of this so I can watch telly again!!!!

    Just had this problem on my In-Laws set. PRESS P/P twice in quick succession, bypasses and allows access to Menu to reset it. PS. The most annoying menu system and remote combination I have come across. Hope it works for you.........

  hi cheers for the advice had that tv sittin about for ages, cant believe that worked!
