HomePS2 Grinding?? Hi can anyone tell me how to fix my ps2. It wont play games or dvds and just makes a grinding noise! I see alot of other people have this problem so would really appreciate it if someone could give us an answer thanks.

I know its been awhile, but this problem is usually the worm gear follower that screws onto the laser lense. This is made out of plastic and makes the laser move back and forth. Its very common for these to wear out. You can find them online for a few bucks. Some sites make metal ones that shouldn't wear out. go to repairs page at thebarras.com look at section near the bottom. |
