Canon GL2 Remote Wire Diagram. Would anyone have this?
I am trying to make a jib and would like to control
the zoom and record at the base of the jib.

like to try and make my own button layout rather than
buy the controls.

What you are asking for is a diagram for a LANC control. Do a google search for lanc. You will find diagrams out there but understand, it will require a microcontroller and software, not simply some wires and switches. You can buy a new control for under $40.00. Try B&H, I did. Not worth building unless you want something really special.
You could always buy a cheap one, take it apart, make your own control panel and use their circuit board.
