You would have to have a sub with speaker wire in and outs as apposed to just the RCA input. The sub taps off the speakers. The speaker wires just pass through it, in affect. Another option would be a Line Level converter. Kenardly812

I'm looking for service manual for the same system, JVC RX-515V ... did you get one ?
