That remote needs codes set. To set the codes go to : Press CODE SET. Press the appropriate function [white] button (VTR/DVD , DBS/CABLE). Enter the code using the numeric buttons. Press ENTER The only problem is that you need the code to enter into the remote. I myself have a RM-Y136 remote, but do not have the manual. Still looking for the code myself
