Homecamera will not record says press reset button The problem is intermitent; it seems to only occur when I really need to use the camera. When a tape is loaded the red record light begins to blink and the messsage "press reset button" appears in the viewfinder. Pressing the reset button doesnt't do anythingm, and I can't record. The next day the cameras seem perfect. Any suggestion welcome.

I have the same problem and have no I dea what to do. Someone must know something but I havent heard. Please let me know if you hear anything! Curt when problem occurs:1)turn off the camera; 2)remove the tape(close tape compartment); 3)turn on the camera; 4)adjust white balance; 5)insert the tape and it´s ok to use; But, what is the cause of this defect? I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND I DO NOT KNOW WHICH IS THE SOLUTION ABOUT THIS SITUATION. IF YOU KNOW THE SOLUTION I AM GRATEFUL VERY MUCH FOR HIS HELP. Another suggestion...when closing the tape compartment, we must use the gray buttom and hear a "click", then it´s ok to use! Rgds, Estou com o mesmo problema, moro no Brasil a primeira vez que aconteceu a firma que vendeu falou que era problema no lote e que caía um pó da própria câmera na placa e ela estragava. Comprei uma segunda câmera que me garantiram que não aconteceria mais o problema mas a segunda câmera começou a ter problema também, mesmo sendo de um lote diferente.
