Jack Posted Dec 07, 2004, in response to:Mark

Hi Mark, Do a search on your model nimber in this forum, and read my replies to other people witn the same problem. I have nine year-old KV32V15, which did this very thing and I repaired it for about of total of $15 (that's includes the cost of the parts, and shipping from electronix.com). When your picture tube goes bad, usualy you still have the sound. Jack

Hi Jack, You seem to know alot about this sony model. I have a kv32v15 or v16. Well, when I plug the cable into it and turn the tv on, the picture comes on for a minute and then all you get is the static. If you turn the tv off and turn it on again, the same thing happens or you just get static right when you turn it on. Not sure what the problem is or what part it need to replace. Can you help? Thanks. - Andy
