B77 capstan motor not working.

1.Would like to know if the B77 audio quality reproduction is better than the A77. 2.I got two deffective B77 which I hope to get at least one working. In one deck the capstan motor is not running, I had checked already the 3,3 start capacitor, what else can cause this? 3.Need also a new capstan rubber, don't know where to buy one Here in Brazil there are nobody to fix those excellent machines.
