PS2=NO READ PS1=YES READ

I GOT MY PS2 N 2000 + IT WILL ONLY READ PS1 DISKS. WHAT SHOULD I DO? PLZ RESPOND. I'M GOIN' GO CRAZY IF I DON'T GET ANY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was told to adjust the cog...how do I do that?
