Re: video doesnt eject automatically

chris Posted Jan 12, 2005, in response to:chris

Hello, There is no cassette stuck in the unit. When I feed the cassette into the housing it does'nt take over. So I manually turn on a little wheel (right hand side of cassette housing)that feeds the tape to the bottom of the housing. When the tape has reached there the video recorder detects the tape and I can play the tape. I do the same when ejecting. manually turn a wheel so that the tape is fed out of the cassette housing. The cassette housing works smoothly. I think it is a switch or something that normally detects the tape being inserted into the cassette housing and than automatically feeds the tape to the bottom of the housing. Thanx for the reply.
