Movieshaker 3.1

Mark B. Beaudreau Posted Jan 18, 2005

Can't open Movieshaker 3.1. My OS is Windows XP Pro. Is there a patch so that I can use Movieshaker?

I'm embarrassed to say but I've had the camera for at least two years and haven't been able to get Movieshaker to open. I haven't started to focus on getting it to work until now. I'd appreciate any help

Hello, Not sure if it has anything to do with Windows XP Pro, but I have no problem using it with Windows XP Home Edition. One key aspect is that you MUST use QuickTime 5.0 that comes with the software. Any higher version of QuickTime will not allow Movieshaker to work properly or even allow you to hear the sound properly. See what QuickTime version you have and give it a shot. And yes, if you have an iPOD, you will be going back and fourth between the 5.0 verion and higher version to run iTunes. Good luck!
