I recieved a handycam for christmas, and I was wondering how could you double it on a blank tape so you could play it in a vcr? I've read the manual but it says nothing about it.

You didn't specify the model of your HandiCam but it should have Video/Audio Outputs or at least an adapter that can provide such. Connect these Outputs to the Video or Line Inputs of your VCR and select the Line In or Video In "Input" mode on the VCR. Insert a cassette into the VCR, select Play on your HandiCam and then select Record on your VCR. If you connect the VCR to a TV you'll see what you are recording. Hope this helps.
