Re: NUTONE INTERCOM SYSTEM

WE recently bought a home with a 3003 nutone intercom unit. We are planning to demolish the wall that the base unit is in and are wondering if we could upgrade to a unit that accepts mp 3 players or, second choice, cd's. Would we need to replace the entire system or could we just change the base unit? What does something like that cost?
