Chand Gohil Posted Feb 17, 2005, in response to:David

I had the same problem with my SLV-E1000 VIDEO and all I did was take a hair drier and heated up the video by blowing hot air where you put yor cassette (make sure you donot over do it) and then plug the video in mains and see if it works. I have a question if you can help I need a manual for this video where can I download it from or can I order it from as I have aproblem when I insert the video cassette in the video it comes straight out and don't know what to do. So will be grateful if you can help

One trick I have learned with lots of electronic equipment. Sometimes they seem to get theirselves in a twist. Unplugging them from the main power supply , not just switching off , often resets the micro processor in them and gets them working again. Worth a try.

The only time I have had your problem is when the record protection tab on the cassette has been damaged. I assume you've tried other cassettes ?
