NO PICTURE BUT SOUND NORMAL

I have an 8 year old trinitron model KV27V20 and yesterday the TV came on normally with sound and picture,I walked out of the room and a couple of minutes later I came back in and the picture was black but sound was still going. The red light at the bottom of the TV is continually blinking. Normally on turn on the light flashes a few seconds and a click sounding like a relay is heard and picture comes on and red light goes out. What would be the cause of this and what would be a typical price to fix it? Thank you!
