Walkman ESPmax

help

im stuck, my sony walkman isn't working, i put in a disc and it works for three seconds then it stops and turns itself off! iv'e tried changing the batteries and i even tried using my brother's walkman ESPmax but the same thing happenes, what should i do? and i really don't want to take it into the shop. iv'e also tried changing the CD but nothing seems to work.
