Home | Previous messageI have a sony TRV27 with the same problem. Used it for about 5 hours & also purchase it a few year ago. I can view my older recordings I did on the tape and mermory card. In camera mode all I get is a black screen. I've tried everything. If you found out anything more on this please let me know. thanks, David

In Camera/Record mode look into the front and see if the Iris is opening. Very similar to the iris in your eye. When in a darker location the iris should open more. As you shine light into the iris it will close. If iris is not opening you'll have to troubleshoot the auto iris motor circuit. Eric |
