Vintage Camcorder - SONY ORIGINAL

I want to get rid of my 1980's original camcorder and playback unit. Do people collect vintage camcorders?. I had to go to Japan to purchase this and I can;t imagine that there are too many out there...Hoping to find out if it has any value or a place to find out the value. thanks
