HomeLooking for a Sony power supply transformer. I was wondering if someone would be able to cross reference a Sony part or perhaps point me to where I could track down a power supply transformer Sony part# 1-446-363-11. It's labelled as T903 for anyone with a service manual. This is a vintage amp, and works quite well otherwise. Much thanks. WK

I have been using my TA-F40 almost daily since the mid-80s, and it just gave up the ghost. Looks like the same xformer is toast in mine, but I'm considering just replacing the whole switching power supply. Do you have a schematic, or know what the output voltage of that supply is supposed to be? I can find no indications on the unit. Thanks CAN *SONY SEND THE *TA-F40 SKETCH |
