Condensation Error - Please Wait

Hi, I need help with a condensation error on the LCD screen when I go to record. It says Please Wait and blinks the error. The first time after a few minutes it came on to the record mode. But now it won't anymore. What can I do ??

ANYONE REQUIRING INFO ON CONDENSATION "MUST" ASK VIA "POST NEW MESSAGE" AT THE TOP OF EVERY SCREEN AND "NOT" ANYWHERE UNDER THIS HEADING AS IT WILL NOT BE SEEN.

Hi I can't find the dew sensor in the inside of my gr d30u. Could you please send the instructions or a diagram on how to clean it to valleygirl1016@gmail.com? And I was also wondering if this would help the lens cap error message. Thanks so much!

I am experiencing "condensation error - please wait" with my JVC mini-dig camcorder, model GR - D30U. Would you please send me the instructions to bypass the condensation sensor in my unit? Thank you.

I would like to thank Tazo for his helpful directions. I own a Jvc grd20 videocam for about 5 years, i change last year the CCD after is dead, i pay 100 Euros on service, after awhile i get the E02 and E04 messages (to fix those errors i used a cleaning tape for a few times and only maxell or panasonic tapes which are very good in quality) and a few days now the condensation error. I followed Tazo's instructions especially the suggestion for the diagram note for the screws, i unplugged three connections on my camera, first on back of the battery chamber, second the microphone's plug and finally the big white cable which separates the camera in two individual pieces. I try to tighten all screws inside the camera and in my surprise some of them were very loose. I did some cleaning with a soft cloth and use some alcohol in a few parts, but very carefully not to erase part numbers. I let the camera open for half hour and then i put all parts back together. That's it. Today is the 3d day and camera works perfect, even better than before. I suggest to you all try it without delays, the solution (i believe) is on camera's reset. Again THANKS Tazo, be well my friend, you saved me for buying a new camera (for now)!

Well im having the same problem , i have read all kinds of diff forums trying to get a clue to why this is doing this , anyway to cut the drama i was cking it out take the tape out leave it open remove the battery for a while still condensation error , so i was kinda shaking the cam in my hand heard something rattling inside ok maybe something is inside forein object ,, who knows well i opened up every area i could to try to shake out whaever was inside , still nothing so i started taking out scews when i noticed where the lcd screen hinges to and bottom at where it lays into place the screws were missing so finally one screw came out on my desk and i took the cover loose on top of the lense so i was still trying to shake this out then as i was looking the other screw was stuck on the lense assembly , so anyway i put the scews back all the others i could see and i could get to to tighten was really loose so after about 30 minutes of fooling with this i rebooted the cam and after 2 days of error message the cam is up and running fine so far , yikes , hopefully who knows hope this helps someone
