sony mbt-xbr900

Broken screen on sony ke-42xbr900. Will sony mbt-xbr900 media reciever work with other plasma screens?

My son broke the screen to the moniter/tv unit of our sony ke-42xbr900. so now all i have is the sony mbt-xbr900 media reciever. am i able to purchase a cheaper "moniter only" plasma screen and use it with the sony mbt-xbr900 without compramising any funcionality? if so does anyone know which screens are compatible? Thanks

  Yes!!!the sony mbt-xbr900 will work with other Plasmas or LCD monitors. The outputs on the back top right are simple composit out. The best one to plug into is the DVI output . Get a DVI cable or a converter to HDMI and it will work great. Mine was made in 2002 and still delivers a great signal from what ever I plug into it.
