HomeVolume/Attenuator Knob needed for Sony TA-E77ESD Preamp - Part # X49222011 Hello All, I am searching for a volume knob (attenuator) to replace one on an otherwise very nicely kempt Sony TA-E77ESD Preamp (circa 1988-1989 era) that has an unsightly scratch down the center. The part# in question is # X49222011 from what I can gather. I would appreciate any ideas on places to source this part since it is NLA from Sony Parts? Thank you, Tim in N FL

Hi, Have you tried www.partstore.com. Only thing you need to watch out for is that they might state that the part is in stock. You then order it and find out weeks later that they didn't have it. Best thing to do is to call them up and if they say that it is on back order then decline buying it. They did that with some 30+ year old parts I ordered and let's face it the manufacturer doesn't keep producing parts for equipment that old. You either have it in stock or you don't. Good Luck.
