HomeJVC AV-27730 displaying black screen with a vertical line in the middle of itnando Posted Apr 14, 2005JVC AV-27730 displaying black screen with a vertical line in the middle of it My JVC TV set with model # AV-27730 is displaying a black screen with a bright line in the middle of it. Sometimes I would smack the tv couple of times and it would start working normally again. Would anybody know what the problem is, and how could i fix this? Thanks in advace

Re: JVC AV-27730 displaying black screen with a vertical line in the middle of itEric Posted Apr 15, 2005If you have a white horizontal line across the center (not vertical) and the pix restores to normal when tapping on the side, check for a poor solder joint on IC421 Vertical Output IC which I believe is an LA7832 7-pin SIP. |
