JVC AV-28GT10UF restarts every 5 secs

I have a JVC AV-28GT10UF tv. I only had it for 16 months and now I cant use it anymore. The tv restarts itself every 5 seconds. Just before the image is about to show the tv shuts down and the led on the front turns red, then after maybe 2 seconds it automaticly powers on again but again shuts down just before image is displayed. This cycle repeats itself until i pull the power chord. Does anyone have experience with this and maybe know how to fix it ?
