HomeI'm getting a C32:10 on my dcr-pc2e and there is no tape in the camcorder and he wont open just a 1 or 2 cm than he stops comming up. he is from a friend of my and and becoause i am a electronic/electrician he thought that i can help hem. There is no tape in the camcorder and the tape holder coms up a little bit like 1 or 2 cm than it stops comming up and the motor keeps running trying further. Then the error code C32:10 apears in the display. Disconnecting the battery and the backup cells won't help. what can/must i doe???? Greetings Hans

yes, we have this service manual in stock,my email- bhumui44@rediffmail.com Kirit shah I just called a Sony repair center about the same error code. Taking off the battery and reattaching it is a simply way to reset the camera - if the error comes back, then you have to repair it basically. The C32:10 gives the technician an indication that the problem is a mechanical issue, which explains why the camera won't open properly. If you can see some mechanical thing wrong that you can fix, go for it. Otherwise, http://www.videoonerepair.com will give you a free estimate if you send them the camera, but they say it will probably be between $150 and $250 depending on what's wrong. Good luck, Ed |
