Hr-S6900U transport mechanism

Have not been successful in locating a shop which can replace or repair trhe transport mechanism on a HR-S6900U VCR. Any one who can send me in the right direction? JVC's suggested shops in Arkansas ans Oklahoma tell me they can not get that mechanism any more.
