please help me!

Ive used the GR model for two years without any problem,but last night the dreaded error "take off battery" thing came up.Start eating all my tapes.Received te dvx 707 as a gift,works fine for first 3 months,starts showing the "dirty head,needs cleaning" message,Ive cleaned it ,worked for about 15 minutes,then starts showing the same message.Starts playing in LP mode,even though The recording and playback are on SP mode.NO audio at all at this moment.I live in The Philippines,I am sure there is no competent JVC repair shop here.Pleasew help me
